What this policy covers

Audio Merger is a browser-based tool for joining audio files. This policy explains what happens when you visit the site and use the tool.

Audio files

Files you select are decoded and processed in your browser. Audio Merger does not upload or store those files on its application server. The MP3 export feature downloads FFmpeg WebAssembly encoder files from unpkg; your audio remains in the browser and is passed to that encoder locally. WAV export is also created in your browser.

Website requests and analytics

The site sends usage events to its event collection service at evt.scrollingtextgenerator.space. Events can include the page path and referrer, a random browser identifier stored in local storage, a session identifier stored in session storage, the site version, and tool activity such as file count, output format, duration, or the selected join mode and duration. These event requests do not include audio content or file names. The collection service and hosting/CDN providers may receive standard connection data when your browser makes a request.

Additional analytics providers may be enabled through site configuration. The current page displays an ad placeholder; advertising services are not part of the audio processing flow. This policy must be updated with the providers and their data practices before any analytics or advertising provider is added or changed.

Storage on your device

The site uses browser storage for its analytics identifiers and basic visit state. Selected audio is held in browser memory while you use the tool; exported audio is downloaded to the location chosen by your browser. You can clear site data in your browser settings.

Third-party services and retention

The site relies on its hosting provider, the unpkg CDN for the MP3 encoder, and the event collection service described above. Each provider may process connection data under its own policies. The event service's retention period and the hosting provider are not yet finalized for the production domain; those details must be confirmed before public launch.

Your choices

You can avoid selecting files, stop using the site, or clear the site's browser storage. Clearing site data may reset the locally stored analytics identifiers.
